In order to comply with Anti-Money Laundering regulations you must provide a government issued form of identification and proof of address. For joint accounts, both individuals must provide the necessary documents. Photos, photo copies and scans are acceptable.


Photo ID must be valid and proof of address no more than 3 months old. Accepted forms of photo identification:


PASSPORT - DRIVING LICENSE - NATIONAL ID CARD - CITIZENSHIP CARD - RESIDENT CARD

By signing this application the investor acknowledges and confirms that they:


Are 18 years of age or over (otherwise applications must be made in the name of parent/guardian and signed by parent/guardian).


Agree to be bound by the provisions of the Bond Purchase Agreement and Application Form (which may be amended from time to time).


Acknowledge that Schroders reserves the right to refuse an application for units at its discretion.


Acknowledge that neither Schroders nor any other person guarantees the return of capital, or the performance of any fund.


Acknowledge that telephone conversations with Schroders may be recorded. Authorize Schroders to collect, hold, use and disclose personal information about the investor in accordance with Schroders Privacy Statement


Are not a politically exposed person.


Acknowledge that, where they have executed this document using a signature applied electronically, or where they provide a scanned or other digital copy of a signed version of this document to Schroders, the decision on whether to accept the electronically signed or digital copy of the document is at Schroders discretion. Where such a document is accepted by Schroders, the investor agrees that Schroders will be entitled to assume (without making any further enquiries) that they have applied (or have authorized the application of) all signatures, and that any digital copy is a true copy of an original document, and to act on the document as if it had been signed by them, and they agree to release, discharge and indemnify Schroders, and any other related or associated entities of Schroders from and against any and all actions, proceedings, accounts, claims, costs, demands, charges and expenses, losses and liabilities, however arising as a result of the above.

  1. Terms & Conditions

It is essential that you read and understand these Terms & Conditions before signing this agreement. These Terms & Conditions will be governed by and construed under the applicable laws in the country of issue.


DOCUMENTATION All investments will be registered in the client’s name unless otherwise agreed in writing. Contract notes in respect of investments will be forwarded to the client within five business days of the transaction. All new clients will be required to provide two forms of identification to opening an account.


DUE DILIGENCE The company will exercise due care and diligence in conducting their business, but will not be liable for any depreciation of investments arranged by them.


COMPLAINTS We have a written policy for handling complaints and how we ensure we deal with each complaint promptly and fairly. Should you have cause to complain for any reason a copy of our policy for handling complaints will be automatically sent to you. Please direct your complaint to the Client Services Manager at the company address. Your account will be protected by the appropriate Financial Services Compensation Scheme from the country you reside. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. Compensation is provided for 100% of your investment, up to the maximum allowance within your residing state. Further information about compensation arrangements is available from the appropriate Financial Services Compensation Scheme in your country of residence. The relevant Financial Services Compensation Scheme also provides awards if any third party institution we may use is declared in default or insolvent.


RIGHT TO AMEND We reserve the right to amend these terms and will give you 30 days' notice in advance before making material changes.

The company ensures that all data will be held in compliance with current and future legislation. You consent to us releasing information about you to regulated entities to obtain any quotations/arrange investments or insurance at your request. The company will maintain records of data held on clients for a period of 6 years from the date of their last transaction. For your security, and training purposes, telephone calls may be recorded. They may be used as evidence in the event of any dispute with the company.


FEES AND CHARGES Schroders charges a 0.25% brokerage fee to arrange and secure the bond as listed above, this is the only fee payable by the client in regards to the bond purchase and no other fees or charges are due throughout the term or upon exiting the investment. This fee is calculated from the total amount invested into the bond and deducted from your initial interest payment. If the client requests to be liquidated out from the bond earlier than the specified term as shown on the agreement, an additional 0.25% fee would be due upon the request being made.


END OF TERM AGREEMENT At the end of the agreed term as shown here on the agreement, the total capital invested into the bond will be paid back to the client in full, along with any outstanding interest payments, within no more than 5 working days after the bond term has ended. The term of the bond will begin on the date payment is made and will be clearly shown on the contract note, provided no more than 24 hours after full payment has been received.
